What is the Al Hamra Village?
The Al Hamra Village project is a
AED 2.5 billion premium real estate and tourism project in the northern
Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, renowned for its stunning natural scenery and
laid back pace of life. Al Hamra Village is a luxury development – unique in
the world in that it combines the sea/beach, a natural lagoon and a
championship golf course stretching around the lagoon. The buildings
respect the serenity of this beautiful natural world with a limited number
of apartment buildings, townhouses and an ultra-luxury 7-star hotel. The
development also includes a marina and a shopping mall.
Steve Williams, Chief Operating
Officer of Lloyds TSB Group Middle East, said of the development: “Al Hamra
Village is a breathtaking development. It provides a unique contrast to the
other residential developments in the UAE being so wonderfully located
amongst the mountains of RAK. With prices lower than in Dubai, we are
seeing lots of people consider properties here as second homes – luxurious
beach side retreats seemingly miles from the hustle and bustle of Dubai, yet
easily accessible.”
Where is Ras Al Khaimah?
Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) is an
Emirate of the United Arab Emirates and is arguably the most scenic of the 7
emirates. The Emirate boasts of a varied landscapes ranging from fertile
plains, mountains and desert regions. The 64 km of virtually untouched
coastline of the Arabian Gulf is a tourists delight.
The Emirate has an International
Airport which is located about 18 km from the city center, and Dubai Airport
is only 76 km from Al Hamra Village. Well connected to the other emirates
by modern highways, RAK has an efficient infrastructure which supports the
growth of trade and business and is currently poised to become one of the
most dynamic economies amongst the emirates in the UAE.
The real estate market in RAK is
virtually untapped and has great potential for growth. Unlike clutter
housing styles seen everywhere around Dubai, Ras al Khaimah is focused on
tranquillity, constructing highly luxurious and exclusive resort style
developments along its beautiful waterfront. Ras al Khaimah has a fast
growing business free zone, and has recently announced the creation of the
new Ras al Khaimah Financial City, which will house banks and financial
institutions in a regulated free zone.
