    Business Bay

    Business Bay will be a freezone business, commercial and residential district that will cover an area of 64 million square feet (5.95 million square meters). It will be located next to Down Town Dubai (Burj Dubai) between interchange 2 and 3 of Sheikh Zayed Road and extend along a new creek from the edge of Dubai Creek (Ras Al Khor), all the way to Dubai's coast. Dubai Business Bay is intended to maintain Dubai as the region's business capital and will be similar to New York's Manhattan and Toyko's Ginza business centers. It is intended to provide a conducive environment and infrastructure for businesses from around the world to set up their local, regional and international headquarters.

    DIFC

    The DIFC is the world's newest international financial centre. It aims to develop the same stature as New York, London and Hong Kong. It primarily serves the vast region between Western Europe and East Asia. Since it opened in September 2004, the DIFC has attracted high calibre firms from around the globe as well as its region. A world-class stock exchange, the Dubai International Financial Exchange (DIFX), opened in the DIFC in September 2005. The DIFC is a 110-acre free zone. It is part of the larger vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, together with the Government of Dubai, to create an environment for progress and economic development in the UAE and the wider region.

    Discovery Gardens

    Discovery Gardens, a 420,000 square meter development, is a pre-designed complex comprising of themed communities styled in a variety of garden experiences. The culturally themed communities are Mediterranean, Zen, Contemporary, Cactus, Mogul and Mesoamerican courtyard gardens. On completion, Dubailand themepark will be twice the size of Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, making it the biggest theme/amusement park in the world.     Dubai Marina

    Dubai Marina, formerly named Westside Marina, has been referred to as the world's largest man-made marina and is amongst the world's largest master planned waterfront development. The development project was started in 1998 and will cover an area of 53 million square feet (4.9 million square meters). It was carved along a 3.34km (2 mile) stretch of Dubai's shoreline and is a mixed-use canal-city inspired in the Venetian tradition. It will accommodate over 120 thousand people in their luxury apartment towers and villas, with a unique waterfront view.

The vast complex will be housed on a territory of over 43 million square feet of land, in the heart of commercial Dubai. The IMPZ initiative is part of Dubai's vision to develop itself into a global media hub. As such, it will provide a pro-business environment, sophisticated technology and community infrastructure to support and foster the growth of media production.

    Palm Jumeirah

    The Eigth Wonder of the World - The Palm Jumeirah is located on the Jumeirah coastal area of the emirate of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The unique man-made island is built in the shape of a date palm tree and consists of a trunk, a crown with 17 fronds, and a surrounding crescent island that will form a water-breaker. The Jumeirah Palm island is primarily a retreat and residential area for living, relaxation, and leisure. It will contain themed boutique hotels, three types of villas (Signature Villas, Garden Homes, and Canal Cove Town Homes), shoreline apartment buildings, beaches, marinas, restaurants, cafes and a variety of retail outlets. The Palm Jumeirah will contain over 25 of the top international hotel brands including Movenpick, Antara, Fairmont, Radisson SAS, Hilton, Metropolitan, Shangri La, One and Only Royal Mirage, Starwood, Marriott, Oberoi, Chedi, Taj and Dusit. Other developments will include Al Basri Building, Al Habool Building, Al Anbara Building, Emerald Palace, The Fairmont Palm Residence, Jewel of the Palm, and the Trump Plaza and Marina Residences. Construction began on the Palm Jumeirah island in June 2001.
